The Biggest Waves in the World – Nazare

Nazare produces that largest surfable waves in the world – that’s a well-known fact even among non-surfers. The mechanics behind it is thoroughly described in this article.

But for now, let’s adore the photos from Nazare, Portugal, that I got lucky to take. Enjoy!

The waves on the photos are only about 8 meters, but they can get up to 30 meters during the big wave season (October-March).
